We were really grateful to be seated immediately during a busy weekend morning brunch and received wonderful service. Great selection of hot sauce on the table and we’re quite satisfied with our breakfast. I would pass on the cinnamon roll, extremely hard, dry and cold.
I got the Yolk berry bliss, it’s Nice tangy yogurt with lots of toppings. Just the perfect breakfast item! I also tried a little bit of the pancake, it definitely has a strong confetti cake flavor, I quite like it.
We came over and visited over Labor Day weekend, the waitlist was approximately 35 min but we were seated after 10 min. Overall, the food was excellent and the service was great. Our server Nevan was quite nice and attentive. Will this place recommend to anyone who comes to Chicago.
Server was wonderful the food was good. Only thing I didn't enjoy was the omelet. It was dry and only had cheese on top. Had to add the gravy and it tasted so much better. The gravy is ????.
Best breakfast ever!!! The lemon drizzle blueberry pancakes were amazing!!! The first bite took me to a new dimension... Thank you, Logan, for such amazing customer service. The vibes at the restaurant were very friendly. Very efficient communication with food preparation, putting them on the trays, and calling out for them to be picked up. Also, the eating areas are cleaned as quickly as one can blink once a patron leaves.
Excellent brunch, went for the scramble with chorizo and avocado, which also comes with potatoes and pancakes on the side. More food then was strictly necessary but I dutifully ate most of it! Great service too. The place maybe lacks a bit of ambiance, but the food and service justify the stars.
Yolk - Marina City is a breakfast gem! The food was incredibly flavorful, and the service was top-notch. My only advice is to go early as this place gets busy fast, but it's totally worth it! Luckily, we got in before the line started, and it was a fantastic experience overall. Highly recommend for a delicious breakfast!
Huge menu all your favorite breakfast fixings! I went for a combo plate that included scrambled eggs 4 big pieces of good bacon and 2 waffles. The waffles really taste good and you should splurge for REAL syrup! Excellent friendly and quick service.
We went for our first time on vacation. The servers and entire wait staff were friendly. The prices were great and the food was amazing.
The special wasn't my fav. French toast was excellent. The cinnamon roll portion had an oddly flavored icing, not my fav. Salmon scrambler was excellent. Potatoes were perfectly cooked. Yogurt was fab. Fresh fruit had some stems. Lemon blueberry pancakes were delicious. Chai tea was amazing. Highly recommend trying. Only complaint was the cheese grits. They are too finely ground for grits. Had a cream of wheat consistency. Not good. If you're from the south you will not like it. Trust me.
